Homemade tortillas

We have not been buying store bought bread lately. We have been making sandwich bread and flour tortillas.  We use the tortillas for Mexi-style dinners and for pb+j wraps and lunch meat wraps.  I really like the home made tortillas and they are SUPER EASY to make.

Flour Tortillas:
(makes 8)
2 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup warm water
1 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients.  Knead about 1 minute. Divide dough into 8 balls. Heat pan. Sprinkle flour  Roll out into circles.  Fry in pan.

YUM!   So much better than store bought!
